Boatshed Dunlaoghaire became a new addition to the Boatshed Family in November 2010. We are based in Dunlaoghaire, Co. Dublin, but operate from the River Liffey down the east coast as far as Courtown, Co. Wexford.
Ian O'Meara is a partner in local chandlers Viking Marine. He has raced internationally, completed the Round Ireland several times, and has a wealth of nautical knowledge under his belt. He has over 30 years boating knowledge.
Shane Gray Ian's partner in Viking Marine, has also raced competetively, and completed the Round Ireland race several times. He has completed transatlantic deliveries and has over 20 years sailing and general boating knowledge.
Romi Gray, married to Shane, has also joined the team. She has a background in IT Technical Support and Business Analysis. Following a 4 year sojourn raising the younger Grays in the family, she is keen to brush up on the knowledge she has slowly built up since sailing and cruising as a child on the river Shannon, the Norfolk Broads, and also the river Saone in France. Known for her attention to detail, she will oversee the listings, and in time we hope will become our primary broker.
As we are only starting out (November 2010), we are slowly building our listings. Please review our page frequently, as we have 5 more boats coming online in the immediate shortterm.
